In addition to being fast, NEXCON™ 3D printers deliver onsite job versatility by utilizing a motion-centric modular gantry design that offers more efficient, optimized structures while providing the greatest printable area that doesn’t sacrifice print quality. The multi-axis gantry system is optimized to guide accurate prints that are capable of implementing any design loaded into a computer aided design (CAD) system from 1-3 stories high.
NexCon™ printers operate at the fastest speeds permitted by law without sacrificing consistency or quality of the structures they create. In the U.S., NexCon™ printer speed is limited by the maximum speeds allowed by governing bodies, which currently 250mm/s. The walls of buildings can be printed with a crew of 3 operators and the machine can be run non-stop for over 12 hours at a time. A 1,000 square foot structure can be completed in under 20 hours.

Black Buffalo 3D has and will continue to educate local, regional and global industry regulators and stakeholders to adapt legacy aging standards. Our first successful initiative was working closely with ICC-ES (International Coding Commission Evaluation Service) to re-write the criteria accepted by over 53 countries for 3D printed walls to a more challenging multi-wall test that will accelerate acceptance of 3D construction printing for large scale building projects.
